Curvy Queens! We love sharing great information with you. Especially Free workout classes. We have been on a mission exploring free workouts around the DMV (DC Metro area.) And we bring to you today, 5 Curvy Friendly FREE Workouts in Prince George's County, MD.
Monday, July 17 & 24 : 6:30 - 7:30pm Sasscer Field
ZUMBA is a dance fitness class infused with Latin music from around the world. The average workout burns 350 - 650 calories. It varies based on body composition. This class is SUPER FUN and is a great girls workout. I TEACH THIS CLASS! And we have all ages with us. Class is at the track, so you can take a stroll before or after class. 2. BOOT CAMP
Tuesday, July 18 & 25 : 6:30 - 7:30pm Bladensburg Waterfront Park
BOOT CAMP is a high intensity, personal training style workout designed to build strength and endurance. This is a great group activity. And the waterfront view is great. The playground is also close by for children. Click on the location for details.
3. LINE DANCING
Wednesday, July 19 & 26 : 8:30 - 9:30am Fairwood Community Park
Curvy Queens it's time to learn all of the latest line dances suitable for beginners and seasoned line dancers. Line Dancing is a great way to exercise, socialize and energize yourself. A playground is at this location along with a walking trail. It is also adjacent to a shopping center with a grocery store. Click on the location for details.
4. CROSS TRAINING
Wednesday, July 19 & 26 : 6:30 - 7:30pm Watkins Regional Park
This great workout allows yo to implement training techniques from multiple sports in order to improve overall fitness. I LOVE this class! The teacher is great. She always offers modifications and is encouraging. I never miss this class. This park also has the Wizard of Oz area for the kids. It's not too close though. So it's good before, after or if you bring an older sibling to take the children to that area. Click on the location for details.
5. YOGA IN THE PARK
What a great way for Curvy Queens of all ages to learn basic moves to strengthen your body, increase flexibility and free your mind and relax, all while getting a great workout! So grab your yoga mat and water bottle and head to the park closest to you and get ready to Move and Stretch. These classes run Memorial Day - Labor Day. Click on the location for details.
